andy2 11-04-2026, 04:39 The An-225, A380, and B737 represent three distinct aviation categories: the Antonov An-225 was the world's largest, heaviest cargo aircraft; the Airbus A380 is the largest, high-capacity passenger jet; and the Boeing 737 is a small-to-medium range, narrow-body workhorse. The An-225 has 6 engines and 32 wheels, dwarfing the 4-engine A380, while a 737 is significantly smaller than both. Key Comparisons: Antonov An-225 Mriya (Cargo Giant): The heaviest and largest aircraft ever built, designed to carry ultra-heavy loads (e.g., shuttle, turbines). It had a 250-tonne payload capacity. (Note: Destroyed in 2022). Airbus A380 (Passenger Superjumbo): A full double-decker holding up to 850 passengers (all-economy). It is designed for luxury, long-haul travel, boasting a 261-ft wingspan. Boeing 737 (Narrow-body Workhorse): A short-medium range aircraft, usually seating 160-200 passengers. It is widely used for domestic flights, with a 117-ft wingspan. Length: An-225 (84m) > A380 (72.7m) > B737 (approx 35-39m). Wingspan: An-225 (88.4m) > A380 (79.8m) > B737 (35.8m).
